The Crisis
A preventable tragedy, repeated millions of times
Every year, millions of children in Africa die before their fifth birthday from causes that are entirely preventable — malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea, malnutrition, and complications at birth. The root cause is the same in almost every case: no access to a health facility, no trained healthcare worker, no medicine. These children are not dying because medicine doesn't exist. They are dying because it never reached them.

Our Response
Building the healthcare infrastructure children need
Rose Maison International builds and equips community health facilities in underserved areas of Africa — bringing primary and preventive healthcare directly to the communities that need it most. Our health centers provide well-child visits, immunizations, nutrition support, treatment for common childhood illnesses, and skilled care at birth. We train local healthcare workers to deliver these services sustainably, so communities are not dependent on outside help indefinitely.
Community health facilities
We build and equip health centers in areas where none exist, giving children a place to receive care close to home.
Skilled healthcare workers
We train and support local nurses, midwives, and community health workers to deliver quality care.
Preventive care programs
Immunizations, nutrition support, and well-child visits that catch problems before they become emergencies.
Newborn and birth care
Skilled attendance at birth dramatically reduces the risk of death for both mother and newborn.
